The Game Marketer assisted French studio Embers with creative asset production and advertising support for its debut title, Strayed Lights.
Our creative assets combined with copywriting, advertising, store page management, and a keen strategy helped drive wishlist growth, while the Strayed Lights social media following grew alongside it. Meanwhile, our advertising efforts helped bring Strayed Lights to millions of eyes across the globe.
We focused on emphasising the visual identity of Strayed Lights, through capturing in-game assets and crafting gameplay trailers that made up the carrousel for Steam, Xbox and PlayStation Stores as well as the official release. Furthermore, we wrote store copy which encapsulated the ideal combination of informative yet exciting messaging.
Advertising & Paid Media
We used paid advertising to raise awareness and start building traction in the games market, then to drive wishlists and convert them to paid audiences. We build up the Strayed Lights audience with research and insight into its competitors - allowing us to refine the targeting of the wider campaign.
We created weekly social media schedules covering Strayed Lights from pre-launch to post-release. These schedules included regular deliveries of beautiful video and static assets, plus creative copy written to the brand guidelines and voice we developed with Embers.
